《香港非物質文化遺產系列:食盆》新書發佈會及專題講座
新界圍村在嫁娶、祭祀、添丁「點燈」、打醮等特別日子及活動時會有吃盆菜的傳統。吃盆菜這個行為被稱為「食盆」。2017年,香港特別行政區政府公佈首份「香港非物質文化遺產代表作名錄」,食盆為其中項目之一。在2021年,香港浸會大學歷史系展開三年研究,透過田野考察、口述歷史、文獻及照片回顧,追溯及研究食盆的歷史源流、社會功能、傳承和在當代的意義。
新書發佈會和專題講座將邀請兩位作者來到現場,與讀者親身分享他們對食盆的文化觀察、歷史傳承,以及食盆的社會功能及其在不同時空下被賦予的意義。座位有限,煩請登記以作現場安排,額滿即止。

Book Launch and Thematic Lecture
 
The book launch and thematic talks will invite two authors to the event, where they will personally share with readers their cultural observations, historical inheritance, and the social functions of eating Poon Choi, as well as the meanings ascribed to it in different times and spaces. Seating is limited, so please register in advance for the on-site arrangement, as seats will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
